Hammond has recreated the idiosyncrasies of the B-3 electro-mechanical tone wheel generator, which have eluded all previous digital sound producing systems, in the XB-3. This new model flawlessly generates the pure harmonic sound of its predecessor, the B-3. It adds another variation as the Drawbar producing at the top and bottom octaves, the variances in key click and the actual internal 'tube' for the effect of overdriving a tub amplifier.
The total effect of the XB-3 is the look, feel and sound of the legendary B-3.
